Arsenon is designed to produce extreme arsenic free drinking water. The efficiency test of arsenon using polluted water with arsenic confirmed that arsenic was eliminated to a level, its concentration being as low as the analyzing limit by the official analysis in Japan. Such a high elimination ratio for arsenic owes largely to the development of special particle, which adsorbs arsenic completely and exclusively, and its elimination ratio for arsenic is higher than those of other methods tested involving reverse osmotic membranes.
Arsenon consist of four columns as follows: No. 1 is a preliminary column stuffed with sediment filter, which removes relatively large particles from 1~5 μm such as rust, mud and sand; No.2 is a principal column stuffed with special particles, which eliminates arsenic completely; No.3 is a column stuffed with UF memblane, which sterilizes bacteria and virus, but small molecules such NaCl stay in water; No4. is a column stuffed with activated carbon filter, which removes chlorine and relatively large organic compounds which are responsible for uncomfortable taste.
